We're building power from the ground up.

A decentralized, just, and community-owned clean energy future — led by the people.

Who We Are

We're a team of builders, organizers, and technologists designing tools for the climate justice era.

Mission

Our mission is to equip communities with the tools, training, and technology to lead the clean energy transition.

Vision

We envision a world where clean energy is accessible, equitable, and powered by community ownership.

Our Values

Ownership

Energy shouldn't be extracted. It should be shared. That's why we help communities own the tools, platforms, and profits that power their future.

Joy

Climate action should inspire creativity, build culture, and strengthen human connection. We believe in a future people can get excited about — not just a checklist of emissions reductions.

Justice

The transition must repair, not repeat. We prioritize communities historically excluded from energy decision-making.

Access

Everyone should have access to the tools, capital, and knowledge to lead. We build for the many, not the few.

Kristal launched WeSolar

On Juneteenth 2020, launched WeSolar, becoming the first Black woman to lead a community solar company in the United States.

Parinda launched Wildgrid

launched Wildgrid to help everyday people understand and access clean energy through education and digital tools.

Joined Forces

Kristal and Parinda joined forces to build a unified platform that merges solar development, digital tools, and cultural organizing.

Building the WeSolar Platform

Together, they're building a technology platform to accelerate the transition to renewable energy by community-driven solutions.
